Are you looking
for a user-friendly Web site to
find information on mental
health, identify available
services, and even keep personal
records on secure servers? Well
look no further as the Cuyahoga
County Community Mental Health
Board is offering you a new
resource –
www.cuyahoga.oh.networkofcare.org/mh
You can search
the site’s comprehensive service
directory for mental health
treatment and supportive
services offered by the CCCMHB
and other organizations. The
site also supplies up-to-date
information about diagnoses,
insurance, legislation,
advocacy, emergency services,
and daily news from around the
world concerning mental health.
It even allows you to establish
private and secure folders to
keep important information about
health care, community support
services and more -- that can be
shared with family, friends and
providers. A special section for
providers allows for the
exchanging of ideas and
challenges through private
message boards and creation of
separate Web sites.
This new site,
which is available in English,
Spanish, Cantonese, Russian,
Tagalog and Cambodian, is part
of a model program that was
developed in California and
showcased in President Bush’s
New Freedom Commission on Mental
Health Report. Funding for this
site was provided by the Ohio
Department of Mental Health in
partnership with the CCCMHB.
